YANKEES VS JAYS
by Bethy J (bethyj)

I went to two Yankee games up in Toronto this past Tuesday and Wednesday. The first game was great, we won 9-2 and I got to see Roger Clemens pitch (I also got to see the benches clear for a near brawl & see Clemens retaliate like the warrior he is). The second game we lost 14-4 and I was unfortunate to witness one of Wang's worst outtings EVAR (*facepalm*); it was physically painful to watch that game. Though I got the best photos the second day at batting practice. Just below are links to the photo albums, below the cuts on this post are my favorite/best photos.

The photos in the albums are a bit larger
and there are MANY more there then there are under these cuts!

FAVORITE PHOTOS FROM TUESDAY'S BASEBALL GAME

(Not the best quality, but it's hard to get a good shot of Melky and Cano doing there thang.)

(Johnny played left field that night, and it was really quite a treat. There were quite a few Yankee fan
out there chanting his name and he responded with a wave and a smile every time.
He interacted with the crowd quite a lot.

After Arod got hit everyone came out on the field. From where I was it looked like a rugby huddle.

(Clemens gets tossed after hitting Alex Rios.)

Joba Chamerlain's debut.

(Johnny interacting with the crowd.)

(Blurry shot of Johnny showing off his muscles to someone, not sure why he did that but it was funny.)

(Johnny gives someone the thumbs up. At one point he mimed like he was sleeping with his glove, haha.
Wish I had been able to get a shot of that.)

(Giambi's return to the Yankees, yields a base hit.)

(Sure was foggy that night.)

FAVORITE PHOTOS FROM WEDNESDAY'S BASEBALL GAME
My best shots of the two days were probably from Wednesday's batting practice.

We ate lunch a the Hard Rock Cafe in Rogers Centre.

Random Blue Jay guy waved up at me when he saw me taking photos. No idea who he is, lol.

They opened the roof during batting practice.

I think it's safe to say that Wang wasn't in the zone that night. Nor could he find the zone for that matter....

No amount of gesturing from Jorge could get bring him around. urgh.

Johnny didn't play that night, so he hung out on the steps a lot.

Benemit plays at third, due to Arod's 'sore calf'.

Celebrating Cano's 2 run homer in the second. Too bad it didn't help in the end.

G
Wang gets replaced. Must be the shortest outting of his career...

Karstens tries to come help, but only winds up giving up more runs.

Torre argues after Abreu gets tossed for arguing a call from the dugout.

Shelley Duncan up at bat.

Taken as Hideki hits a home run. Again, not enough to get rid of a ten run lead...
